GoodtoChina has been a key collaborator in Shanghai’s EcoDesign Fair (EDF) and Eco Lifestyles event. Since 2009, EDF has offered the latest in eco-fashion, design, education, business solutions and entertainment. It is a great community event showcasing sustainable innovation and design in Shanghai. GoodtoChina has offered urban farming workshops and exhibits and organised a critical mass bike ride as part of the day’s events.
At the 2011 Eco Lifestyles event, GoodtoChina developed a Designing Healthy Lifestyles Pavilion which showcased contemporary and sustainable solutions for everyday living. It enabled participants to ask questions, learn, connect and practice how to live a healthier more sustainable lifestyle in Shanghai.
In May 2012, GoodtoChina together with Splitworks will host China’s first true sustainable music festival on Chongming Island. The Concrete and Grass Festival will highlight the cross section of urban and rural living with a focus on sustainability. It aims to create a truly inspirational, wholly environmentally conscious global music festival that creates a fusion between music and sustainable living.
